Remember

I usually try and make a poppy card at this time of year and this one was super quick. I used an image from a Hunkydory pack I bought years ago - it contains so much I may never use it in my life time lol!

I also dug out an old Spellbinders poppy die and simply cut three times from black gloss card. I keep all the little pieces of black gloss card as they are useful for sentiments and in this case I had enough to cut the poppies and a sentiment.

I'm going to the Snippets playground to enter this card and see if anyone has recovered from the "flask" Sarn left hidden on bonfire night.

Thanks for entering a piece of homework to the Snippets Playground. See you up in the treehouse later for a nice mug of hot chocolate with some extra marshmallows on top! xxx

What a beautiful card Lynn - so unusual to have a typical French village scene in the background with the lovely poppy silhouettes in the foreground and a carpet of what looks like poppies behind. Really lovely!

Hi Linby, your charming Flanders farmyard is the perfect backdrop for these gorgeous silhouetted poppies. I too keep snippets of cardstock in all colours esp the fancy glossy ones - nothing worse than having to break into a new piece when you only need a snippet! Thanks for visiting earlier! Hugs Kate!
