A wreath for Christmas

Our challenge at Allsorts this week is hosted by Mervi. She has chosen the optional theme of Christmas Flowers and Wreaths, or of course you can use the Anything Goes option.

My Christmas wreath is made using a TH die set. So many pieces to this set! I decided to just make lots up and then decide what to use on my wreath. To aid aligning the elements I used a small bowl and put green watercolour paint on the rim, then stamped it onto a piece of white card. It's mostly covered though so you see just the odd glimpse. I mounted the wreath with the stamped sentiment inside and framed in green card. It looked a little bare and so I splattered green paints over it.

Very pretty and what a good idea to create the base shape Lynn, I usually use a circle die and pencil round but you never get to rub it all out, whereas your idea all blends in.
