Friends and Roses

Today I'm sharing my DT cards for the new challenges at We Love Stamping  and Stamping Sensations.

My first card is for the Something New theme at We Love Stamping (or anything goes). We do need to see at least one stamped element on the front of the card. 

I've used a new Daisy B stamp and a CC stamp from a set I acquired in store before Christmas, which was ex demo, so no details of it. I do love this sentiment though. I coloured with promarkers and mounted onto a piece of paper from a V&A paper pad. It looked a little stark so I took a CC stencil (also bought in store) and lightly stencilled around the image. I know I should have masked off - but ...

This month we have three prizes of stamp sets from Stampendous.  

This month at Stamping Sensations we have a mood board (or anything goes).We do need to see at least one stamped element on the front of the card. For my card I've been inspired by the Red Roses and colours from the mood board for my card.

I started by cutting from a polka dot pad the base using a CE stained glass die. I then used a lattice die from Positively Papercraft to mount my CC stamped image onto. I fussy cut it out and I coloured with promarkers and then added one of my pre stamped sentiments I have on hand and a few tiny die cuts.

We have three prizes from AALL and Create, an A4 Butterfly stencil, A5 stamp set and two A6 stamps this month.
