January blues

Sarah is our host at Allsorts challenge this week. She's chosen the optional theme of January blues or of course you can use the Anything Goes option.

For DT card I've used a print out of a design by Mama Makes from and old Papercrafter magazine. I simply coloured the flowers and leaves with glitter markers (from B&M if you are in the UK) and then used a journal stencil for a little bit of background interest.

I cut a mount using an old paper pack designed by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen. It's a vibrant pack in metallics, but I thought using just as a frame worked by only showing part of the pattern - and it's in blues.

Such beautiful flowers and I love the stenciling on the background! The metallic paper frames the image panel so nicely and what a great sentiment too!

Love how the metallic paper matches the magical flowers Lynn, and that subtle stencilling works great as background!
