Nature in pink and blue

Ellie is hosting the challenge at Allsorts this week and she has chosen an optional theme of "Make your own background" or you can always use the "anything goes" option.

I made my background on my gelli plate using acrylic paints and a stencil. I took the print from the plate onto parchment tissue paper. Then I cut the trees with a Memory Box die in pink card and added a CE sentiment.

Our prizes for the next two weeks

I love the background you made Lynn but I'm also a fan of the two die cuts that work brilliantly with it and also look as if they could have been in the same set! Loving your colours too - just right for this beautiful sunny Saturday! Vicky x

Well you know I am a big fan of gelli printing and the print you've used for this background is FAB. Great dies used on top. Like Vicky said, they look like they should be part of the same set. xxx

Great work with the gelli plate Lynn. Love how this turned out. The pink and blue looks so beautiful together! I know I should have challenged myself a bit more for my own theme and used the gelli plate, really wanted to make 2 cards for the theme using the gelli plate for my second but time ran away from me.
