A chequered scene

 

This started out life as being an illusion piece, but it didn't work out. So I pushed all the pieces of the picture through from the die and stuck them down. Then I was going to frame with the same die cut from green, but that didn't look right either!

I decided to use the waste from the green die cut and complement it with some of the previous waste from this die cut in black.

Here's one of my die waste storage jars. You can see the black squares from a previous project.

The sentiment fitted nicely in the space and with the scene. I'm off to the Snippets Playground to show what I've been up to.
