100 years old!

 

I made this card following an appeal for cards for an RAF veteran who turns 100 years old on 30 June. You can read about it here .

I could only think of the CE plane die as being suitable and that wasn't going to cover much of the card front! I have a box of Jubilee/England theme items and this snippet of union jack cardstock was in there. It was a little bit bigger and I was dubious to trim it and create another snippet, but I think the design looks better for it not covering so much of the card front.

The CE birthday cake die has it's first outing - I decided this was apt and could cover a larger area. Then I had just received the JND Tempus Fugit die and decided a part of it cut out in silver mirri would add some interest. Finally a printed sentiment was added.

So, I'm off to the Snippets Playground with this card and for a splash in the paddling pool - it's hot here for a change lol!
