Triangle snippets

This has got to be the simplest snippet card I have ever made. It was also a clear up from my desk after making a little folded envelope for bits and bobs. The triangles are the wastage from the envelope and I forgot to take a photo of the envelope and the snippets, although they are pretty much as you see on the card - apart from this one which I cut the butterfly from.

I then applied gilding polish to the butterfly. I wasn't happy with where the corners met, so I wanted to cover it up.

The sentiment is from a Paula Pascal set, and those lines are meant to be there! For a grunge look I suppose, but if I didn't know I would think I just messed up the stamping.

I'm off to the Snippets Playground to show everyone and get a go on the swings.

Simplest maybe but a beautiful result, love the pretty papers and colour. Enjoy the swings and no going too high!

Great use of those left over triangles of paper and a well-placed butterfly. I have a couple of grungy sentiment stamps and I always think they look as if I'd messed up when stamping - hopefully the recipients don't think the same 🤣
