Autumn snippets

I've had my gilding flakes out and the TH leaf die set. I also found in my "not used" box this stamped and embossed piece of kraft which I cut into three. It just never made it onto a card last year. I'd used an AALL &Create stamp set and the EF was free with a magazine many moons ago. Looks like I used ink with the EF too.

I also found in my snippet box this piece of brown metallic card which had a fancy die cut from it and left this edge. So I decided to use the edge as a feature on the card.

Then I set about combining them for a card. Adding a sentiment from a Spellbinders set.

Below is another one with a larger leaf and a bird die cut a blogging friend sent me. The sentiment is from a PB set.

Dare I push it to three cards? Well this one was using a further background piece with the gliding flakes. It is actually the base part from a Specs sticky sheet. The gilding flakes had found their way onto part of it and as I was nearly done with it I decided to add some more! I did use flitter glue for the flakes, but it is old and so I resorted to sticky specs in places.

Thanks for looking. I am off to the Snippets playground challenge with my first card.

Three great autumnal cards - the gilding flakes work well on those leaves. Well done for using up so many bits and pieces too.

Only just seen this so sorry I’m late commenting … love the use of the gilding flakes with the die cut leaves, gives a fab and different look which works brilliantly with the dark stamping and the kraft card. I don’t have any gilding flakes but I really line the look of these ! xx
