Bewitching

For the first time in ages I have managed an entry into the Lavinia Stamp challenge. I don't really do Halloween so was a bit stumped until I came up with this idea.

I had a print I had taken from my gelli plate and left a white space down the middle - not sure what it was going to be used for! It turned out it was perfect for my idea of a kind of bewitching twilight zone. I used a Lavinia stencil and DIs down it. Then I stamped and added a little bronze pen and some grounding lines.

It was the perfect size to fit into my new kraft journal that I picked up at The Works, only £2!

A kraft journal for £2 in The Works?????? Who knew! I shall check the next time in my local one!

FABULOUS little journal page for the Lavinia challenge. Love that you left white space ready for something else on your gelli print! Will have to store that idea away for later use!

Beautiful Lynn, so love Zaimira, she remains a favourite. Planned going to Huntingdon Works yesterday, guess what, they've close the shop, goodness knows how far the closest one is now.

That journal was a real bargain and you've made great use of your gelli plate with the white space in the centre. Guess it was just waiting to be filled with something beautiful 😊

Fabulous composition Lynn, lots of lovely detail and the overall look is really magical. Like you I don’t really do Halloween either … I have debated the new Lavinia witches but not caved! This particular fairy is perfect for a bewitching scene … I don’t have her so was toying with the idea of Mooch looming up at the moon! xx

Magical scene, it works so well with your gelli print. The works have so much choice for craft now don't they, not having one that near me I tend to buy online from them. Emma

Your entry for the Lavinia Stamp challenge is truly enchanting! The bewitching twilight zone idea is brilliant, and the use of your geli plate print with a white space down the middle adds a unique touch. The Lavinia stencil, DIs, bronze pen, and grounding lines bring everything together beautifully.
