Glitter butterflies

 

I've made this card using a CC die that is part of the prize at Snippets Playground this time. I bought one for myself and one for the playground as I thought it was just right for snippets.

I ended up using just one snippet. This is an offcut of an A4 sheet of sparkly card. I'm not sure where I got it from, I think it may have been part of a bundle. It's a colour I don't usually use so I challenged myself to use it. I started by cutting out using a TL die with the pinholes around the edge.

It would have been a great idea to cut more butterflies and put them back into the die and I am sure I will do that at some point. But for this make I chose to use up some glitters. I then embossed one of the sentiments from the set in bright gold embossing powder. Finally adding one of butterflies from the "waste" which I covered in matching glitter.

I'm off to the Snippets Playground and hope it's not a torrential downpour there like it is here at the moment.
