Lighthouse snippets


I'm very slowly working my way through filling a multi frame with stained glass effect die cuts. This one used all snippets and is a die from CC. 

Previously I made this Kingfisher for another aperture, seems like it was in 2022. I told you I was slowly doing this lol! I've also realised that the Kingfisher has a glossy black frame - that is going to annoy me now.


I've got a bonsai and a hummingbird left to do - maybe in 2026??

I'm skipping over to the Snippets Playground to share my make.

Both of these stained glass panels are impressive - a perfect technique to take along to the Snippets challenge. Hope you manage to get the remaining two completed before too long

Paper piecing is one of my favourite techniques .. .. and both of your projects are amazing. I particularly love the lighthouse and can't wait to see the bonsai one once completed.

Two beautiful card, Lynn. I especially lovely the lighthouse card.
I have the bonsai die somewhere, bought a few years ago and never used. Thanks for the inspiration to dig it out and actually use it.

These are lovely Lynn, the stained glass effect reminds me of something my Dad used to do when I was I child. He did very intricate designs using colourful foil (mainly chocolate wrappers) behind a black cut out silhouette, I remember a Geisha and a Victorian lady in a crinoline. I had forgotten them until I saw your panels so thank you for a lovely memory of my Dad.
