An angel and Christmas cakes

I'm here today with a little mid month reminder for our challenges at We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations both challenges have an optional theme of Winter or of course you can use Anything Goes.

My first card using using  AALL and Create Angel Wings (1220) is for the challenge at We Love Stamping. I inked a background using DI tumbled glass and then stencilled using a Funky Fossil christmas tree over the top. I then used some stamps from a Crafty Individuals to stamp over the top.

I stamped and cut out my angel colouring with Castle Arts metallic pencils. I used a piece of paper from The Paper Boutique pad A Sprinkle of Winter as my bottom mount and some bronze card as the second mount. The sentiments are from a Papercraft Society box.

My second card is for Stamping Sensations challenge. I used a very old and un inked stamp by Papermainia. I stamped and embossed in white and coloured with promarkers. I used a grey promarker and a blue one to make a shadow around the image. Then using TL dies cut a mat from a Red Robin paper pad and white card.

As the stamp has been unloved for so long I decided to do another card, this time stamping in black ink. The papers are from a pad from The Works from several years ago.

Not sure which version I prefer?

All beautiful cards Lynn, isn't it amazing how different the same stamp can look stamped in different colours? They both look lovely but my favourite is the black one. I love the card with the angel, such a great background for her, colouring with metallic pencils was inspired, a lovely effect.
