Perched robin

This is a card I managed to make just before we went on holiday. It's using a Penny Black stamp that I saw a teamie use and just had to have, that was in January and it's just seen ink! I decided to colour it as a robin.

I stamped onto some peach patterned paper which I thought gave a wintry feel. I then stamped and coloured the image using Distress crayons, glitter markers and pencils. I added some snow with a white gel pen.

I've just ordered a set of 100 gel pens! I feel like when I was a child and you got a bumper pack of felt tip pens but invariably some didn't work.

I'm entering this card into the Rudolph Days challenge for December.

We had a lovely trip to Lanzarote, staying in Teguise. Unfortunately our flight was delayed by a day and then the trip we had booked to Fuerteventura was cancelled. We had a great time though as the hotel was so peaceful and relaxing.

A couple of views of our hotel from across the bay.

When our trip was cancelled, we took ourselves off to the capital Arrecife as we hadn't been before.

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and I wish you all a Happy, healthy and creative 2025. I will begin commenting again in the next couple of days, apart from DT commenting which I am catching up on today.

Makes a perfect Robin Lynn. 100 gel pens, wow, didn't know there were that many different ones. Great photos, can feel the sunshine (almost).

Beautiful stamp and card Lynn, I think the soft peach tones work really well. Hope all of your new gel pens work, I don't have a lot of luck with them, tried so many different brands but many of them seem to block up or dry up very quickly...my white gelly roll pens are the most trustworthy!
Your photos are beautiful, how lovely to enjoy blue skies and sunshine at this time of year.
