Books and assorted small stamps

This is my second post today and a mid month reminder for our challenges at We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations

My first DT card is for Stamping Sensations challenge. We would like to see a "hand coloured image" or of course you can use anything goes.

I've used AALL & Create stamp #1149 The Story Never Ends coloured with promarkers. The sentiment is from an old Unity stamp set and the book dies were a Spellbinders Die of month kit last year. The sentiment die is by Die-versions. The background is from my stash box and I think I created it with watercolour ink and spraying water.

My second DT card is for We Love Stamping challenge. Our theme is

Anything but Square
along with Anything Goes

I decided to use the postage stamp die on kraft cardstock. The stamps are from October Afternoon, Inkadinkadoo and Crafters Companion.

As always we have fab prizes on offer at both challenges so please do join us.

Two very different cards Lynn, the one with the A&C books so colourful and the book ending dies work well. Very effective use of the postage die.

2 brilliant and very different cards. I love the combo of stamps and dies on the book card, and what a great sentiment! The use of kraft card and monotone stamping is a fab way to use the postal collage die xx

Two beautiful cards Lynn, the book stamp is fabulous and works well with the die cuts, lovely colours too.
I like how you've used the postage die, the small stamped images look great on the kraft background, using just black ink brings it all together beautifully.

Love both these. Your book pile looks so inviting. I just want to have a look and see what's in it and your postage die works really well in kraft card with those vintage stamps. Perfect xx

What a lovely pair of cards, Lynn! I love the first card because I am reading more whilst keeping warm inside as the chilly weather persists. I love your colouring and how great that you had a background that matched so well in your stash. I also like the kraft postage card - the colour gives it such a great vintage vibe.
Hope you are well,
Hugs
