Die cut illusion

I really like making these optical illusion cards with a die cut. I've found the simplest way for me is to use old Tattered Lace mags as they have a duplicate of the image already printed to use.

I made this one for a blogging friend and now she has received it I can share it. I did this one a little different as I put die only over part of the image. I then added a washable sentiment from Clever Cuts.

I'm entering this card into the add a die cut challenge at Crafty Calendar challenge.

I'm not sure why, but blogger has started to put the date as the day after on my posts. This post is Tuesday 7 January, but showing 8 January? It did it occasionally before, but now seems to be a regular occurrence. Not helpful for the dates of challenges closing!

This is another one I made, but this time I used the whole image and stamped the background.

Very effective - good thinking to use images of which you have duplicates. Strange about the dates being incorrect on some of your posts - must say I've not ever thought to check this

Both beautiful cards and images. I never check the dates either-keep getting notifications of comments say 20 mins ago -when I check they are from 8yrs ago!!! Bogger is also blocking you from following new blogs and challenges too!

Two super cards with the optical illusions.

Regarding the date of your posts. Have you tried checking the SETTINGS down the left side on your dashboard? After clicking on the settings option, scroll down to FORMATTING and check your time is set to GUERNSEY TIME, and then adjust your preferred date format below! Don't ask me why there's not London GMT time!

Hope that helps xxx
