Fractured snippets

At long last I have managed to make a card with the "fractured" technique. I decided to offset my square a little because I liked it better than in the centre.

I used snippets! These were in my PB 6x6 paper pad.

You might notice that the papers changed when I came to do the card. I didn't like that there was one piece with only blue and white, so I swapped it for the pink polka dot (also a snippet). To my mind it was then two pink and white, and two pink and blue patterns.

The stamp is an old Hero Arts stamp I think, the packaging is non existent. Anyway, I made this card for the 13th birthday at the Snippets Playground. Inside the card it says "it's you're birthday" which is from a Waffle Flower stamp set.

I was so pleased at how it turned out that I did another one, again with PB paper pad snippets. This time I chose to use grey for the background.

I want to make more now and intend on using up the snippets inside my paper pads - well that's the intention...

I think I must have been hiding as I haven’t registered this technique before but it is definitely on my list now. I certainly agree you have got a superb colour balance in the snippets you ended up using x
