Love is in the air snippets

In the Snippets Playground this time there is an optional theme of Love is in the Air. So I decided to get out a paper pad by Craft Asylum called Candy, which I  have in 12x12 and 6x6. I knew it had hearts and some snippets from previous makes too.

I first cut a square from a snippet of 12x12. Then when I went looking for heart dies I found my Tonic set and decided to cut a square from another piece of pink paper from the 6x6 pad. What followed was me changing my mind a few times as I cut another snippet from a snippet using the die set.

I did end up with this snippet left from my original snippet - following so far lol.

Rather than waste it, I realised it fitted onto a 6x6 card blank. However, it was only when I finished the card I realised that it was wider on one side than the other. So, a piece of ribbon (last snippet of it) was added to deceive the eye.

Back to how it all began. This is the second card, which was the first! I added a little xo from the paper pad. It was square and no heart dies fitted, so I cut it out by hand.

Two cards, challenge completed.

My brain hurts figuring your details out! LOL! But I think I just about understand! Nevertheless, you have made two beautiful cards using Miss Di's optional theme. The heart papers and dies are terrific and I like how you got a twofer out of your indecision!

Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. See you up in the treehouse shortly. I think I'd better heat up some mulled wine in the new microwave! xxx

Impressive use of snippets Lynn, two for the price of one and hearts galore in very pretty soft shades.

A couple of great cards to fit the love theme. Your roundabout journey just goes to prove that using snippets DOES breed more snippets >🤣
