Hearts (quite a lot of them)

 

Two cards today for the mid month reminder of our challenges at We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations.

My first card is for the optional CAS theme at  We Love Stamping. I used a very old (ancient) Sugar Nellie stamp. I coloured it with gel glitter markers and then mounted with a snippet of card and a sentiment.

My second card is for the optional theme of Valentines, Wedding and Romance or Anything Goes at Stamping Sensations. 

This card certainly isn't CAS and I may have gone a little over the top with the hearts lol. I used a stamp set from Spellbinders called One Heart. I stamped the hearts for the background and coloured with gel glitter markers. Then I stamped another one of the set which has the sentiment and cut it out. Finally as if there weren't enough hearts I had these two ready made cut outs on my desk, so I coloured them with a promarker and added them.

I then cut some red paper with an old Gummipan old paper die for mounting.
