Baubles for Rudolph Day

This is another idea I saw online, to paint baubles. You use the cardboard inner from a toilet roll (if you can find one, as many don't have them anymore!). Dip the cardboard into paint and make the circle, squeeze it to make the elongated bauble. I'm not sure it was that successful, as I ended up doodling some lines and putting a inky "halo" around the baubles. I added glitter and stencilled the background with faint ink.

This is for the Rudolph Days challenge for March.

What a clever idea and very effective too. Kitchen rolls still seem to have cardboard middles 😉. Happy Rudolph Day

Lovely card for the Rudolph Days Challenge, Lynn. A very clever way of making the bauble shapes. I thought all the toilet rolls in our supermarket had cardboard inners. I will have to have a closer look next time. 😉

What a great idea Lynn and love how this turned out. The snowflakes on the background look so pretty too and loving the sparkle! I haven't noticed the cardboard roll not included with toilet paper here but there might be a few brands that don't include it anymore.
