Sewing themed album

 

The challenge at Path of Positivity Challenge Ch. #129--Anything Goes POSITIVE with the option to make a creative project you wouldn't normally make, was my prompt to make this album.

I found this free kit and Youtube tutorial from Polka Art Studio. I fell in love with it and just had to make it. She has so many beautiful kits that I know I will be doing more.

I printed everything out and then followed the tutorial. I made an addition which you can see below with the quote "Sewing is a journey of creativity" and on the other side of the thread card "not a race to perfection". I used an image from Gecko Galz as the background and created the text in MCS.

Inside are accordion envelopes which also contain an image card. I haven't photographed them all. If you watch the You tube video you will see them.

I didn't do the eyelet lacing for the closure of the album, because I don't have any eyelets the right size. It's something I can add later if I want to though. I really enjoyed making this and it felt like an accomplishment to have it all put together.
