Spring

Two cards to share with you today. The first is for the start of the new challenge at We Love Stamping. The theme is

                                                  🐣Hello Spring🌷

or
Anything Goes

I thought this Crafty Individuals stamp with the "Song of Spring" on it would be ideal for the theme. I stamped in Memento Paris Dusk and then coloured parts of the stamps with crayons and pencils. The flowers I coloured with gel pens. I used a TL die to frame which wasn't big enough so I cut it into two. Sentiments are from a Lisa Horton Banner set.

My second card is for Stamping Sensations. Our theme is

🌿Spring🪻
or
Anything Goes

I make no apologies for using this Uniko Daffodil stamp yet again, it's so beautiful. This time I took a piece of card and blended DIs onto it in yellows/greens and then faux bleached. Then I embossed the daffodil and the sentiment from a Spellbinders set onto the card.  Added some highlights with a promarker to the leaves and gel pens to the sentiment. Cut out with a die set by Daisy Mae and mounted onto green paper.

Very effective how you used the TL die to frame the image on the first Lynn and what a glorious Daffodil on the second.

2 fabulous spring cards today Lynn, the faux bleaching is brilliant on the vibrant daffodils card, and the bird card is so pretty with an ingenious use of the border die. Xx

Both lovely creations Lynn, the soft colours of the stamping and use of crayons/pencils to colour the bird image give a lovely effect, it reminds me of a texture rubbing. Great idea to cut the frame too, looks great- thanks for the tip! The second card is glorious, such wonderful vibrant colours and big bold daffodil.
