Flower card inspiration

New challenges begin today at We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations. Please scroll down for my second card.

Cathy has chosen the optional theme of Fav stamps/add lace or ribbon at We Love Stamping. There is also the Anything Goes option. It's Cath's last challenge month and we wish her all the best, it has been lovely being on the DT with her.

For my card I chose an old fav stamp by Stampendous called Cling flower fields. I coloured it with crayons after stamping onto a pre printed background from a Phill Martin paperpad. The ribbon I bought from Ikea some years ago and had forgotten all about it! The sentiment is from Simply Graphic.

Our prize this month is a bundle of magical stamps from Fairy Hugs.

The theme at Stamping Sensations is Nature - Flowers/Birds/Animals or of course Anything goes. I've chosen to go with flowers, as I wanted to use this tulip stamp from Darkroom Door, that I received as a Christmas present.

I made a frame using CE dies and that meant that this card is very large at 8x8. I matted it onto blue card cut from a die by Chloe. The sentiment is from Woodware.

We have two prizes of Lavinia stamps and stencil (photos not to scale). (Please note, we (Lavinia) cannot provide exchanges/replacements/refunds for any products received through this third-party giveaway).

Both beautiful designs Lynn, the first is so pretty and feminine in the pretty shades of pink, beautiful stamp and ribbon trim.
As for the second one, the beautiful yellow tulips really stand out against the contrasting colours of that pretty die cut frame. xx
