Paper Piecing

Lynne is the host of our challenge at Allsorts for the next two weeks. She has chosen an optional theme of Paper Piecing or of course you can use Anything Goes instead.

For my Paper Piecing I've used a flower from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Flower Garden stamp set. I used an old Pad of Penny Black papers and stamped the image, fussy cut out, then placed it over my stamped image. I added some colour with promarkers to the centre of the flower and the stem.

I used a set of dies from Maximum Crafts to create the frame from the same pad so as to co ordinate. I then used a CC stencil to add a little interest to the background. Finishing touch is a foiled sentiment in gold from Spellbinders.

Our prize this fortnight is a £25 store voucher from Personal Impressions (inc pps, winner meets costs of any additional spend). Personal Impressions is one of the UK’s leading brand managers/wholesalers/distributors in the arts and crafts industry, specialising in mixed media, papercrafts, card-making, scrapbooking and journaling. PI are proud to represent over 70 brands from global, recognisable brands to small, niche and new.
