A Festival of Flowers

This is the card I created using the June Lavinia Challenge prompt of Flower Festival.

I got out all my Lavinia flower stamps and coloured embossing powders. I had to work fast and try not to get the powders mixed up! I then stencilled the background and stamped some leaves and the butterflies. Finally I blended shades of green inks around the edges of the card.

I then mounted onto some dusky lavender paper from a 12x12 pad.

I have added a hot foiled sentiment and am entering the card into the Triple B challenge with my blooms and butterflies.

I'm rather pleased with how this one turned out.

What a breathtaking celebration of summer blooms—this card feels like stepping right into a magical meadow. The variety of colored embossing powders adds such richness and texture, and I love how the stenciled background gently pulls it all together. The butterflies bring such a lovely sense of movement, and the blended green edges are the perfect way to frame this lush scene. A truly enchanting take on the Flower Festival prompt!
