Close to nature and a snooty cat

This is my first post for today, featuring the new challenges at We Love Stamping and  Stamping Sensations. I'll have a second post for the new challenge at Tag-along (and ATC's) which this month also begins on the same day!

My first DT card is for the challenge at We Love Stamping with our optional theme of Close to Nature.

I made a print on my gelli plate, dividing the colours roughly into thirds. Then I used Lavinia stamps to create my nature scene. The sentiment is gold foiling using a stencil and laminator.

We have a prize of  Glorious Bouquet, a large Tim Holtz floral stamp from Buddly Crafts

My second DT card is for Stamping Sensations where our optional theme is Furry friends. I used a Julie Nutting stamp set called Snooty cats. I stamped it onto a background I created with Alcohol ink brushes in the procreate app. The cat I stamped and paper pieced. I then cut a circle of pink card and using a marker made a pattern around the outside before mounting my stamped circle onto it. Then a little stencilling so the background was less stark.

We have two prizes, Penny Black stamps from Buddly Crafts

A lovely meadow theme to the first one Lynn, some of my fav flowers on show there. The Cat on the second looks very happy with life, judging by the fish bones we all now why!
