A card in a box

I've never made flowers using foam sheets before. I had some sheets of foam in a Papercraft Society box and decided to dive in and have a go. Not as good as many I have seen, but I was happy with them. I also cut some foliage using dies in the box from the green foam.

I cut a background die and then framed it and used a Spellbinders sentiment. Of course this is a card with a lot of depth, so it needed a box. I used a Card making Magic die. It is meant to be an enclosed box with the opening on one end, but for a card I wanted it to be more visible. So I adapted it to this...

Lid of the box

I even decorated the inside, which I am not one for doing usually, but it felt like it should be!

I'm entering this card into Ellibelle's Garden Party challenge and The Neglected Stuff challenge. The Papercrafty Society box with the foam sheets is about 4 years old, and never used. The Spellbinders die is only about a year old though.

Absolutely beautiful card and foam flowers, love the die-cut border and decorated box. I bought some foam a few years ago but never made anything with it lol.
