A rose and down at the beach

I'm here today with a mid month reminder with my two DT cards for the challenges at Stamping Sensations Stamping and We Love Stamping.

My first card is for the challenge at Stamping Sensations where we have an optional theme of Summer Blooms chosen by Avril or Anything goes. I've used AALL & Create Rosey Daze (1251). I coloured the image using pencils and spread with water. I then used inks with brushes for the background.  I cut the outside frame using an Oakwood Archer die and added a hot foiled Spellbinders sentiment.

My second card is  for We Love Stamping where we have an optional theme of Sun, Sea, Sand, or you can go with Anything Goes if you prefer.

I created a background with watercolour inks and then stamped the flowers from Creative Expressions along the bottom, adding some birds from a Stampscapes set. With a sentiment from a Hobbyart stamp set embossed in white powder. I then cut a frame to put around it.

Hope you can join us at the challenges.

Two lovely cards Lynn, the rose looks fabulous against your inky background and that's such a relaxing beach scene you've created.

Your watercoloured scene is really very special. I love it. Your rose is gorgeous too of course, but the watercolouring really stands out xx

These two cards show your skill with watercolouring. I love them both but the sky on the second one is absolutely gobsmacking.
