Cat saying hello!
When I saw the new challenge at As You Like was for Cats or Dogs (and why?) I knew I wanted to get this cat stamp out and try out an idea I had in my head. It's a reworking of this card I did with the bunny at Easter.
I like cats and dogs and didn't want to chose, the stamp did that for me! I used different shades of brown and stamped the cat out. Ijust coloured the eyes with a brown promarker and some of the face with grey markers. Then I used the "paws" from the bunny die to cut some paws out of the part of the stamped image that is hidden.
I made a brick wall using an EF and then added a sentiment from Paper smooches and a tiny paw print from Stampingkitchen. I also used the paw print in the background and some grungy inking with DI scorched timer.
The first card is for the As You Like was for Cats or Dogs (and why?) challenge. I've had a cat more recently than a dog, so have a lot of new cat craft products.
I had this next version of the cat already stamped onto a gelli print, left over from when I made the card in this post. It was stamped onto a gelli print and then heat embossed. I then decided to use the glasses from the bunny die set, and so the cat needed to be lower than on my first card. I used a smaller brick wall EF from Marianne.
