Sun, Sea, Sand and Summer Blooms

 

My post for today features my DT cards for the new challenges at We Love Stamping and  Stamping Sensations.

At We Love Stamping we have an optional theme of Sun, Sea, Sand, or you can go with Anything Goes if you prefer.

My first card uses an old SU stamp set Beautiful you and I am ashamed to say these stamps have seen ink for the first time! I did use others in the set for the first time here. I love it, but just never got around to using it, until now.

I took a piece of paper from an SU pad and then stamped directly onto it. Then I paper pieced the image after finally finding a pattern small enough. The birds are from a set by Artscapes with a finishing touch of sequins.

My second card is for the challenge at Stamping Sensations where we have an optional theme of Summer Blooms chosen by Avril or Anything goes.

My card uses a Crafty Individuals stamp. I decided to stamp in green for a change and then I framed it with a die from CC, the sentiment is from Simply Graphic.

We have 2 prizes 1) Rose stamps and stencil and A5 heart stamp and stencil from AALL and Create (photos not to scale)
