Lights and an owl

A reminder of our optional theme chosen by Pinky at Tag-along (and ATCs) for November. She's chosen add Texture (or of course there is anything goes if you prefer).

For my ATC I've used an old DCWV from a postcard stack and cut it down. Then I used some pre printed acetate I bought at PDA Crafts. I used an old die set (bought many years ago and no packaging as I put it on a magnetic sheet) for the arrow, with a piece of vellum and a punched star to cover the glue marks when attaching the acetate.

My tag uses an owl from Lavinia stamps which you've probably never seen with googly eyes before! His eyes were a bit lost on the black background. I heat embossed with pink embossing powder, it was a special mix for Hochanda at the time. The wording is from Lisa Horton wordage and the base is a spellbinders die cut.

Some fabulous techniques and ideas here Lynn- A very colourful ATC, great idea to use acetate & vellum, smooth textures don't always spring to mind! Love the owl with the googly eyes- and I definitely haven't seen them used with this stamp before!
