Mid Month Christmas inspiration

This is a mid month reminder for our challenges at We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations where the optional theme at both is Christmas.

My first card is for We Love Stamping and I used the window die from Maximum Crafts for the basis of the card from a 12x12 Pion sheet. Then I filled in the frame and added a border with a TL die using snippets. As you can see below, I have certainly got my monies worth out of this old Paper Boutique pad!

The stamp is an old one by Docrafts and I think the first time I have used it. I felt it fitted really well in this little circle stamped over some scripted paper.  Finished with snowflakes from a JND set and a CE sentiment.

My second card is for Stamping Sensations. I used a CC sentiment stamp over vellum which I heat embossed with gold powder. Underneath I used a Spellbinders fauna stamp, which I coloured with promarkers. Finished with a frame from cut from gold card.
