A flower fairy also Snowman and hedgie

My first card is my DT card for Stamping Sensations challenge where our theme this month is Fantasy - or Anything Goes.

I have had a set of CC Flower Fairy stamps for many years. I won them and never really thought about how to use them. When this theme of Fantasy came up, I decided they fitted the theme perfectly.

I started by stamping and colouring the fairy with DI watercolour pencils onto a die cut circle. I then used a Funky Fossil stencil to lightly give the background some colour. I used a die from a Chloe set and put if over a die cut trellis background that I bought from ebay ready cut ages ago. Then I used a JND Bee Balm flower, stamp and die set for the flowers.

The sentiment banner dies are by TL. This card was for an appeal for cards I saw on FB for a lady who was turning 100.

We have two prizes of Lavinia Stamps (photos not to scale). Please note, we (Lavinia) cannot provide exchanges/replacements/refunds for any products received through this third-party giveaway.

My second DT is for We Love Stamping challenge where our theme this month is Red and Green or anything goes. I've used an old Penny Black stamp coloured with promarkers and framed with a double die set from Maximum Crafts. I then added a little crystal fake snow.

We have a stamp and die from Visible Image, plus a surprise second prize of an A4 stamp set.

Your first card for SS has so much interest and detailed elements which all draw the eye towards the lovely Fairy. Your red and green card looks so crisp with the snowy elements and happy snowman.

I was a huge fan of the Flower Fairy books as a child- I loved the illustrations so much so your beautiful card has brought back some fond memories. The Christmas card with it's cute hedgie and snowman is lovely in the traditional festive colours.
