Hopscotch and Poppies

I have three DT cards to share today as a reminder of the challenge themes. One for Stamping Sensations challenge and two for We Love Stamping challenge.

My first is for We Love Stamping challenge where the optional theme is Something New. I have used a new Andy Skinner stamp. I stamped and embossed onto vellum using a sparkle powder. You can see the effect better on this second photo.

Then I used two pieces of a 6x6 pad from Craftmania ny Craft U Love called Buds and Blooms. The only paper pad I have ever had that I did not need to cut down to fit on a 6x6 card! I used a Memory Box arch die to cut out the aperture and then placed the vellum behind it. First colouring the dress from behind with pencil crayons. The banner dies are from Tattered Lace.

My first attempt was the reverse and I cut the vellum out with the arch die. Only to realise all my glue dots would show, so I attempted to disguise them with Nuvo drops.

The card below is for our theme at Stamping Sensations Something beginning with B... or anything goes. I have used a Poppy stamp by Altenew free with a magazine some time ago as B for blooms. I then a Funky Fossil stencil in the background. Sentiment die is by Julie Hickey. My inspiration for this card was actually the material for a dress on The Sewing Bee.

Lovely use of the new AS stamp onto vellum, works so nicely and of course the Poppy card is a big hit with me.

Three beautiful cards Lynn. Love the look of your new AS stamp. Vellum can be a nuisance in use, but always looks pretty xxx
