Winter animals

Our new challenge at Allsorts begins to today. Helen has chosen the optional theme of Winter Animals, or as usual you can use Anything Goes if you prefer.

For my DT card I used the window die from Maximum crafts and some printed old papers that came from Swedish House crafts back in the day. I've expanded the die by mounting onto a square cut with a Chloe large square die to make this an 8x8 card. The image was actually in the corner of the paper and with some manipulation I managed to use the border in the remaining parts of the die. A JND stag and snowflakes are the finishing touches.

Here's a second version with the different colour of mirri card and some striped paper from Pion.

Our prize is Visible Image stamps set and coordinating dies

This is gorgeous Lynn, such a lovely design. Skilful use of your dies to cut the image and border from the DP- and it's such a lovely image with the peaceful scene and glowing sky. Looks beautiful in both colours but I think the mirri card you chose for the first one really enhances the glow.

Can confirm the first card is beautiful, the copper mirri card compliments the image perfectly. Since it arrived I've been trying to source the die, they said it was due back in stock before Christmas but not as yet.
