A wreath and a hedgie

A reminder of our current challenges  at Stamping Sensations and We Love Stamping

I have chosen the theme at Stamping Sensations of "favourite stamps" or anything goes. I've used some of my favourite Lavinia Stamps for this card. I don't have a stamping wheel so I made my own using some mylar based on an idea I saw some time ago, but can't remember where. I cut two squares to for a star shape and then moved the paper around to stamp each stamp. It does produce a rather uniform wreath and I do prefer a more organic look but then I am not very good at those!

I used a Clarity square die for the base and some ancient SU paper, as it was the only thing that matched my versafine Hawthorn Rose stamping.

This is my DT card for We Love Stamping where the theme is hearts or anything goes.

I've used an old Penny Black clear stamp set called 30-042 Piece of My Heart of which this little stamp is part of. I then teamed it with a x-s die from Rox Stamps but it isn't available any longer. I used one of the smaller dies in the set to stamp and emboss the sentiment in white. The paper is a snippet from my stash.

Don't forget we have fabulous prizes available to be won at both challenges.

Your mylar template worked very well, looks perfectly symmetrical, the second really cute and nice with the red carried to the backing DP.
