A triptych and butterflies

Two cards from me today, as a mid month reminder of our challenges at Stamping Sensations and We Love Stamping.

For our theme at We Love Stamping we have Spring (or anything goes) I created the triptych card above. I've used a double arch die from Maximum crafts and joined three together with a simple hinge made from card.

I used papers from a Penny Black pad and the stamps are from old Creative Stamping magazines. I struggled a bit to find stamps in my stash small enough to fit the aperture and the theme.

My second card is for our theme at Stamping Sensations - Inspired by Nature (or anything goes). I have had these Chocolate Baroque butterflies and Alphabets stamped out onto a background for ages. With this new butterfly cover plate die from Craft Stash (which I picked up in the closing sale) I saw an idea. I think I used brushos for the background, but it is a few years ago! I coloured the butterflies with pencils and mounted onto a piece of card and onto the die cut. The sentiment is a Julie Hickey foilable with rose gold foil.

Both so perfect for the themes Lynn, but this time a definite favourite as I lovely arch shaped cards (and seems another die I need),
