Cute creatures big and small

Two cards from me today as we begin the new month with new challenges at both We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations challenges. You may have seen the announcement already, but for those who missed it, I am very sad to say this will be our last challenge at Stamping Sensations.

My first DT card is for We Love Stamping challenge where the theme is All Creatures Great and Small (or anything goes). I've used an old Gummiapan stamp and co-ordinating die set. It was perfect for the theme, as it has great and small on one stamp, with the elephant and mouse on his trunk. I used some papers that were free with a magazine to paper piece and then to create the background too. The birthday sentiment is a digital stamp from Gecko Galz and the "tons of fun" from a Waffle flower set.

Our prize is

Three stamps from AALL and Create

My second DT card is for Stamping Sensations challenge. The theme is Cute Creatures chosen by Anesha (or anything goes). I shaded the background for each scene with DIs. Then I got out Penny Black Critter Party 30-013 and used all the little stamps that fitted nicely onto the postage die. I coloured using a mix of pencils and DI crayons.

Our prize is four die sets and printed Reflections from Highlight Crafts

Great fun and vibrant elephant card - love the dotty elephant. Also I particularly love the cute PB critters … I have this set and tend not to use them as they are so small, but they are the perfect fit for the postage style card x

Love the colours of the Elephant card Lynn and great use of smaller stamps on the postage die.

Fabulous cards Lynn, both of them so cute and fun. The paper-pieced elephant with his little mouse chum is bright and happy, great way to use your tiny PB stamps on the second one. xx

Love ALL the animals on your blog today Lynn. I still have that paper pad too, so jolly. Free paper pads were worth having back in the day! x
