Leaf card

Our new challenge at Allsorts begins today with a theme picked by Liz, which is Mono or anything goes.

I've used shades of green for my card. First of all I used a Lavinia leaf stencil and inked through it and also around it to form a border. I then used Lavinia Indian Flourish stamp through the stencil for the leaf markings. I removed the stencil and used various leaf stamps on the background. The corner sentiment is by Phill Martin.

This card was actually inspired by a Jo Rice card. I also made this journal page below, inspired by her original idea. Using the Indian flourish stamp again, as I don't have a feather stamp. The additional stamps are from an Indigo Blu magazine set.

Our next challenge will celebrate our 17th Birthday. Please help us spread the word by sharing our logo below and as an early gift to you all AALL and Create are offering a discount of 15% valid from 1st May through 31st May and available on all items in their store plus free shipping on orders over £39.99. A lovely monochrome card and I like the idea of using that elaborate stamp to add detail to the leaf. Lovely journal page too - Jo always has wonderful ideas to share.

Both are lovely Lynn as you know was a design I cased, but I'm particularly drawn to the first.
