Architectural Arches

I was looking to use a spare arch die cut I had left over and decided to make this little window design with a Gummiapan tulip die. It was going onto a card but then thought of using my Tim Holtz stamps in my Art Journal to create a background for it. I finished with some Clarity word stickers and I rather liked the end result.

I wasn't intending on sharing it, but I found that the theme at Art Journal Journey challenge is Houses and Buildings and it seemed to me to fit so well.

Wow! Love this architectural AJ page. Fab background stamp and focal dies xxx
What a clever way to use a leftover. This is beautiful. I agree with the sentiment, too. We are so glad at Art Journal Journey (AJJ) that you decided to turn this into a journal page instead of a card. It is perfect for Matilde's theme at AJJ. Thanks for sharing.

I thought at first glance that the background was design paper, it looks fantastic with the arched window, the die cut tulips are a sweet touch! A brilliant page Lynn.

All works together so nicely Lynn, like Chris thought the background was DP. DO love these dies and so pleased you found them for me.

A great idea to incorporate the left over arch into an architectural design page in your journal. Fits the challenge theme nicely too
I really like the contrast of the pink and tulips with the black and white ancient looking arch. They work so well together and make a super page. I'm so glad you were able to join us. Thanks you. hugs-Erika
