Bird, birdcage and snippet tag

I got out a neglected paper pad. It is probably neglected because the papers are off white and I find it difficult to match. I've used the papers for the frame, bird and flower. The birdcage is an old TH die cut, the bird and flowers from a Sizzix set and the background uses a Lawn fawn pierced die.

I'm entering this into the Beginning with B challenge at Fab'n'Funky challenges Birdcage and bird

While I had the pad out I set about using some of the snippets. Now these pictures are going to prove me wrong with the colour, because they look black and white, but they are truer to colour on my first card.

I took a piece of card and cut the snippets into strips placing the diagonally over the card to cover it. Then I cut into a tag and added the "tag" top and the stamped typewriter, both from diamond press.

Here are my snippets and the die I used.

I'm off to the Snippets Playground with this tag.

Your card is so striking, cutting all the elements from the same pad or black card gets round the difficulty of matching the colours- I really like what you've done here- and thanks for sharing at Fab'n' Funky!
The tag looks amazing- great way of using those snippets.
