Using teal and purples

 




Our new challenge begins today at Tag-along (and ATCs). Brenda has chosen the theme of favourite colours, or anything goes if you prefer.

As you saw from a post the other day I love teal and I also love putting it with another of my fav colours purple/lilac.

For my ATC I have used a Paperartsy JOFY stamp JF10 stylised poppy stamp. I daubed some watercolour inks onto card and sprayed. Then stamped and cut a butterfly from part which was more purply/lilac. I love this stamp but it is small so not used much but perfect for an ATC.

My tag uses a very old wood mounted stamp from Inkadinkado called Tin Can Mail. I used fine gold embossing powder and then coloured with the same watercolour inks.

The colours on your ATC are gorgeous together and what a lovely stamp too Lynn. But the gold, teal and lilac is so so pretty on your tag. Love the added fibres too.

Teal goes so well with purple on your ATC, but the gold embossing on the other adds such a feel of elegance. I forget to use EP, must do better!
