Digitalis

Another card I made with the Crafter's Companion Foxglove die set. This time I used both the dies in the set on one card. I used paints to colour and then added some sequins. Finally splattering with the paint over the whole card and adding the wording from the CC stamp set.

I'm entering this into the A Cut Above challenge - anything goes option or fall flowers.

This was the view at Wollaton Park lake yesterday. The water so low revealing the silt bed.

This is how it would normally look with the deer cooling off.

Super card Lynn, the foxglove dies are gorgeous, love the bold colours and added sequins.
I do hope we get some rain soon, it's very worrying seeing the water levels so low and everything so scorched and dry. xx

Great colours for the die cut digitalis. The hot and very dry weather is causing all sorts of problems all around the country. It's stifling again these past few days.

Scary how low the water is getting everywhere, never seen the paddock look so brown and shrubs shedding leaves at speed.

As you know love Digitalis so this one ticks all the boxes.

This looks great. I do love green and purple. The lack of rain is such a worry. I fret every summer when we have long dry spells, but this year is so much worse. Thanks for sharing those pictures xx

Beautiful! Love the bold colors. I am assuming by the title of your post that you know digitalis is made from Foxglove. My brother took digitalis from the time he was 2 weeks old until he had heart surgery at the age of 9. Thanks for sharing your inspiration with the August Challenge at A Cut Above.

Lovely card Lynne, the foxgloves are beautiful.
Hope it won’t be too long before we get some decent rain. Lower temperatures would be good too.
