The card that went wrong!

I bought a new die by A Pocket Full of Happiness. I had been stalking this die arriving in the UK and ordered it straight away. I thought (wrongly) it was a frame die of Christmas trees and I would be just popping them into the frame. There is no frame! After a bit of a sulk I got on with making a card and cut once from green and once from silver. I used the border left over from cutting the silver thinking it would be helpful. I still had trouble putting all the pieces in and whilst it looks symmetrical the piece in the bottom right corner is smaller than all the others.

I used a sentiment from a card mag which is designed by Lisa Horton and also the flower and leaves over the top.

I'm entering this card at Rudolph Days challenge.

Then I set about using the left overs, this would be simple right! Wrong!. If you look closely at the card above there are a few errors. This meant that all the left overs did not fit together and why I also had trouble putting the first card together! My own fault and obviously I have learnt a lesson. So here is my Snippet card slight smaller as I couldn't use all the pieces.

I'm taking this over to the Snippets Playground challenge.
