Backgrounds and critters

I have three makes to share with you today. My first two are for our new challenge at Tag-along (and ATC's). Scroll down for my DT make for We Love Stamping challenge.

Our optional theme at Tag-along (and ATC's) chosen by Pinky is Make Your Own Background. Or Anything Goes.

For my ATC I cut my own stencil using a cover plate die from Altenew. Then I brushed various colours of Himi gouache metallic paints through the stencil. I then put two tiny images from Gecko Galz onto the ATC and used some old tiny stamps from Stampin Up and an old Gummiapan alphabet stamp. I splattered with gold paint from my Gansai palette. Finally I dragged a juicy black ink pad around the edges.

For my tag I took a brusho background I had previously created and used stamps from Chocolate Baroque on it and some tiny ones from an American crafts set. Finished with dyed ribbon using TH Oxide inks.

Our prize from AALL and Create

This is my DT card for the We Love Stamping challenge where we have an optional theme of Christmas Critters or anything goes if you wish.

Whenever I see the word critters Penny Black always comes to mind. So I have used Penny Black  You Make Me Blush 3758 which still appears to be available online at various stockists.

I coloured with DI pencils and added a little water. Some faux snow along the bottom. Framed with papers from Pion Design and the red with snowflakes was from a magazine. The sentiment is from an old Waltzingmouse stamp set.

Our prize is Dies, Christmas Design Papers and free artwork and reflections download from Highlight Crafts
