mid month reminder for our One for the Girls challenge at Penny Black & More

I'm here to give you a little reminder of our challenge over on Penny Black & More which this month is One for the Girls. There have been some fantastic entries so far, but still time to enter and you can enter up to three times too. As usual there are fabulous prizes on offer.

For my DT card I used PB 40-217 Venetian Summer and 30-297 Sprinkles and Sparkles for the sentiment which I stamped and embossed onto vellum so that you can see as much of the lovely PB paper pad sheet from Beau Jardin.

I stamped my image and then used masking fluid to cover her up while I inked over to create the background. I then rubbed off the fluid and paper pieced her dress and hat. I then used a fleximarker to outline her and a promarker to colour her bag. Here is a close up of the stamped image.

Thanks for looking. I look forward to seeing you at the challenge blog.

oooh, this is beautiful! the papers are so pretty and you did a fabulous job with the masking and stamping behind her to create the scene that looks like it's part of a storybook.
