Autumn sky

My second outing for this stamp from Crafty Individuals, the first one is here.

I wanted to capture the sun setting through the trees this time and so I used a piece of watercolour card and stamped onto it. I used watercolour paints to colour. I then put the colour into the sky using the same paints.

This turned out to be a snippets card because my artwork was too large for the leaf frame I wanted to use. But I thought it framing the corner worked. Here is my snippet that I used.

Of course I used more snippets for the acorn and leaf and gutted the piece above for the second leaf.

The dies and sentiment are from Crafters Companion.

I'm off to the Snippets Playground with my card. I think I've missed the conker matches but thankfully we didn't have any suspected cheating like in the World Conker Championships!

I'm also entering into Ellie's challenge I Spy With My Little Eye - Colours of the Season challenge.

The conker contests aren't quite over - so you can still bring yours along!

LOVE your gorgeous leafy die edge to the scenic CI stamp.
Thanks for entering a piece of homework to the Snippets Playground. See you up in the treehouse after a round of conkers xxx

Your card beautifully captures the essence of a sunset through the trees! The use of watercolor paints adds such a lovely depth to the scene, and your creative solution to frame the corner with snippets works perfectly. The acorn and leaf details, along with the sentiment from Crafters Companion, tie everything together wonderfully.
