It's magical x 2!

New challenges begin today at both Stamping Sensations and We Love Stamping challenges. My first card is for Stamping Sensations. Please do scroll down to see my DT card for We Love Stamping.

At Stamping Sensations we have an optional theme of  Make it Magical or you can use anything goes. I created a wreath as an experiment using Lavinia stamps on some lilac card. I wasn't sure I would like it but I did! so here it is. A magical birthday card. I used another Lavinia stamp for the corners and then added some sparkle.

I tried to capture the sparkle with this photo.

We have two prizes of Magical Lavinia stamps and stencil (photos not to scale). (Please note, (Lavinia) cannot provide exchanges/replacements/refunds for any products received through this third-party giveaway).

I'd also like to enter this card into the Crafty Calendar challenge where it is Anything goes.

At We Love Stamping our optional theme is Christmas or anything goes.

This CC stamp was unused for so long but I used it here, earlier in the year and I think I managed to make it look different for this card. I stamped onto some blue paper and then used promarkers to colour and a white pen for the snow.

I framed it with an JND cut and emboss folder that I bought a couple of years ago and never got around to using. None of my stash seemed to fit in that aperture when I tried to use it previously, but I am pleased with this look for it. Although I embossed a sheet of patterned paper from a CC pad as it is mostly patterned at the edges and the use of the gilding wax I think I got away with it! The die cut greeting is an old one. Can't remember the name as I don't have the packaging but I know they don't trade anymore.

We have three prizes of Sweet Dixie Christmas die sets from Aldridge Crafts
