Painted grape hyacinths
I had a little snippet of black card left over from cutting down a piece of A4. I folded it in half to make a little card and then I had a watercolour snippet which was just the right size to fit. I've used a technique that I've been meaning to try for ages and that is painting with cotton buds (Q tips to those outside the UK).
I used watercolour paint and dabbed the end of the bud into it and then simply made a triangular shape to resemble grape hyacinths. I then used different shades of purples repeating the process. I finished by painting the leaves and added a foiled sentiment.
I don't think I will be trying this technique again. On Instagram when I saw this being done they had bound together the buds into the triangular shape and made it look so easy. I couldn't get my buds to stay together so ended up using them individually. I didn't really waste the buds either as I had managed to tip a whole carton onto the floor, and then didn't want to use them for anything skin related. Now I am not sure what to do with the rest, although I do use them for cleaning hard to reach areas.
I'm off to the Snippets Playground with this tiny make.

I think you have done a fabulous job and love the colours.
There are always cotton buds to be found under my sinks .. .. I use them for cleaning in the plughole and overflow.
Love and hugs
