Flowers

A mid month reminder today for our challenges at We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations. Please scroll down for my second card.

Cathy has chosen the optional theme of Fav stamps/add lace or ribbon at We Love Stamping and this is another fav of mine from Uniko stamps. I've kept it simple as the stamps is simple itself. Just coloured  in with some ink blending, matted and then added some ribbon from my stash with a foiled sentiment. It looked a little too stark, so I add a CC stencil in the background.

The theme at Stamping Sensations is Nature - Flowers/Birds/Animals or of course Anything goes. I've chosen to go with flowers again and the same stamp as last month here. Although I think you will agree it looks very different. This time I have used the whole stamp design simply stamped in black in and embossed onto purple card. I framed it using a stained glass CE die and then wondered where a sentiment would go. I finally decided on this memory box die which I thought let the design show through without obliterating it.

As always we have fantastic prizes on offer at both challenges, so I do hope you can join us.

Don't forget the new challenge starts 1 May! TAG-ALONG (AND ATC'S)
